Angie Thomas

Born as the eldest in a family of seven, Angie Thomas grew up in Memphis, TN, under the care of her single mother and grandparents. She graduated from Melrose High School in 2002 and relocated to Dallas, TX, in 2012. Angie began her Real Estate career in property management, starting as a leasing agent for her first year in Texas. With a knack for results and in pursuit of excellence, she was promoted to Assistant Manager at the same company. While there, she also oversaw her property of 355 units for three years. Motivated to do even better, she made a solid resolve to pursue her ultimate goal and long-time passion, full-time service in real estate. She began a knowledge search, gaining relevant skills to take her to the next level. Her efforts finally paid off in 2022 when she started Angie Thomas Real Estate Group DBA as ATREG, a real estate brokerage. Under her able stewardship, the brokerage has experienced tremendous growth, currently hiring 18 agents and counting. ATREG has calved its niche and established itself as a full-service real estate brokerage, bringing top- of-the-line marketing and expert client representation. Founded on the core values of diversity, honesty, integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement, Angie Thomas Real Estate Group, is known for its innovation and creativity. Angie is not only a successful real estate professional but an accomplished entrepreneur. She is the founder and CEO of Ideal Tax Pro’s, and The Director of ATREG Cares Inc., t, a 501 C3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing food, clothing, and educational resources to the impoverished communities around DFW. She is also a Notary signing agent with the state of Texas, where she assists home buyers and sellers with the legal aspects of closing real estate transactions. Angie is happily married, a proud mother of two children, and a new grandmother to a baby girl with a soon-to-be on the way.
