David Orso

My name is David Orso, and I am a real estate agent in beautiful Anne Arundel County. My real estate experience started in 2001, and my knowledge of the area dates back to when I was a child.I was raised in Anne Arundel County and attended Severna Park High School where I played golf, basketball, and lacrosse. After attending the University of Dayton on a golf scholarship, I returned to the area to earn my Master's Degree in Baltimore at Loyola College and I started my real estate career. I am able to tap into my business background as a member of the board of the Anne Arundel Medical Center. Sports are still important to me, too, and I volunteer as a coach for the Mago Vista sports program. I was also able to help start a non-profit program in Baltimore that introduces underprivileged youth to the game of golf.It is wonderful to see my children growing up here as well and enjoying all of the things that I loved growing up, such as family days at the Chesapeake Bay shoreline. My parents live in Anne Arundel County as well and are both teachers, assisting the growth of our county's children. We are proud that our children are able to attend such phenomenal public schools and, we would not want to live any place else!Located just south of Baltimore on the shores of Chesapeake Bay, Anne Arundel County in Annapolis, Maryland is home to the perfect mix of modern convenience and American heritage as well as "America's Sailing Capital." Residents enjoy more than 500 miles of coastline, two state parks, over 70 county parks, and many greenways. Situated conveniently in between Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC, the county is served by both I-295 and I-95 as well as regular AMTRAK and bus services. It is also home to the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, connecting it with virtually every destination on earth. The public school system here is one of the largest in Maryland with over 5,000 teachers serving Pre-K through 12th grades. Ten of the county's schools have been recognized as National Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence, and another 14 have been recognized as Maryland Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence. The county also enjoys one of the strongest economies in the state and is ranked as one of the top in Maryland job growth.Anne Arundel County is a wonderful place to live, and being in real estate gives me the opportunity to help others discover that, too.
