If you want something, you must work for it. Years ago I had my dream job, working for an integrated engineering firm specializing in government proposals. When the business was closed due to owner illness, I was faced on what to do to reinvent myself. In the past, I had also worked on the administrative, accounting, and marketing end of real estate businesses, so my decision was to become a realtor. Not only "a" realtor, but the best realtor that I could possibly be. I'm working still on perfecting things, but leave no doubt that the strong worth ethic I possessed in the past has carried over to my real estate career.
