I was born and raised in Lawrence, Kansas, graduated from KU, and worked in sales, marketing and advertising in the Lawrence area for several years. My husband Michael and I relocated to advance our professional careers. Missing family and Lawrence, we returned in 1998 with our daughters McKenzie and Kylie and we have focused on building local businesses, raising our now adult kids, enjoying time with friends and family, and volunteering in many aspects of the community.
